Tea kami are drawn to hot cups of tea, and often take up residence in well-loved teacups. However, like all kami, they also move into pieces of paper (such as sticky notes) that have their symbol drawn on them. To invite a tea kami to stay with you, be sure to drink tea regularly and revel in the relaxing warmth of each cup. Though most kami are invisible to the naked eye, you can occassionally see the ghostly, ephemeral form of a tea kami dancing above your steaming cup.
